Design, Recycling, & Technology

Vibration is a design studio, research centre, and production facility based in Zabok, Croatia, EU.

We work with recycled PET felt and natural materials, such as cork, to create acoustic panels, lighting and spatial objects produced within a closed loop—from bottle or bark to finished product and back again.

Our starting point is simple: how can materials gain a new life through form and function?

Technology & Processes

We use large-format 3D printers, 5-axis robotic arms, and 3D scanners to shape and analyse structures made of PET felt and cork.

Combined with CNC machining and thermo-pressing, these tools enable new forms of production that merge industrial accuracy, digital flexibility, and experimental design.

Our processes include 3D printing, robotic forming, 3D scanning, CNC cutting, thermo-pressing, and hand finishing.

Sustainability

Sustainability is a broad concept. For many, it represents nature, the environment, and the planet we share. For us, it lies at the very centre of our work and forms the foundation of our design, production, and way of thinking.

Our internal framework, ERS—Ecological, Responsible and Sustainable—guides our daily decisions, from design to logistics, reminding us that innovation and care for the planet must go hand in hand.

We deliver fully certified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) solutions in full compliance with current EU regulations and the latest international industry standards. Our approach is entirely data-driven and Industry 4.0 ready, ensuring measurable performance, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainable impact.
We use recycled PET fibres and collaborate closely with our partners through structured R&D activities to develop innovative and sustainable material solutions. Through continuous technological development, production waste is transformed into high-quality nonwoven materials suitable for further industrial applications.
We prioritise the use of renewable electricity, optimised gas consumption, and local supply chains whenever possible. By focusing on low-carbon product development, material weight reduction, innovative raw materials, and high-efficiency industrial processes, we systematically reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the entire production cycle.
Through advanced Industry 4.0 monitoring systems, artificial vision technologies, and strategic industrial collaborations, we convert waste into new products with high process control and quality assurance. Our waste management and packaging recovery systems are fully aligned with EU environmental regulations, supporting our long-term zero-waste objectives.
We are committed to low-carbon product development and the use of certified sustainable raw materials, continuously improving manufacturing processes through applied research and innovation. From PFC-free material innovations to reusing production waste and transforming industrial scrap into market-ready solutions, we position ourselves as a reliable partner in the implementation of circular economy models.
